Description & Features

The U+2 Panel is the most widely used FIBC construction in the world, and for good reason. Its folded U-body forms the base and one wall from a single piece of fabric, so there's no base seam to fail under load — the point where cheaper bags give way first. Two side panels complete the cube. The result is a bag that carries heavy, flowable dry goods safely and predictably, order after order.

Built in-house from our own tape and yarn, every U+2 bag carries consistent denier, tenacity and GSM. Double-stitched seams, reinforced hems and a choice of loop, liner and discharge options make it suitable across agriculture, construction, chemicals and food-grade applications.

  • Fewer seams, fewer failure points
  • Economical at scale without loss of strength
  • Broadest application range of any FIBC type
  • Fully customisable loops, liners, spouts and discharge
  • Food-grade and UV-stabilised options available

Construction

How the U+2 Panel is built.

The U+2 Panel uses a single piece of woven fabric folded into a "U" to form the body, base and one side wall — minimising seams and maximising strength. Two flat panels are stitched onto the open sides to complete the cube, giving fewer stress points than fully-panelled designs while staying faster and more economical to produce at scale.

Every seam is double-stitched with high-tenacity thread, and top and bottom hems are reinforced to handle repeated filling and discharge cycles. Generate an enquiry for custom specifications →

Why Choose This Bag

Built for everyday reliability.

Cost Efficient

Fewer seams and simpler cutting reduce waste, keeping per-unit cost competitive without compromising strength.

Structurally Reliable

The folded U-body removes a base seam — the highest-stress point during lifting and stacking.

Fast Turnaround

A simpler panel layout means shorter production cycles and quicker fulfilment on bulk orders.

Versatile Fit

Suits almost any flowable dry product, from minerals to grains to chemical powders.

Where It's Used

Industries that rely on the U+2 Panel.

Agriculture & Seeds

High SWL and breathable fabric keep grain and seed shipments dry and intact over long transit.

Construction & Minerals

An abrasion-resistant weave handles sand, cement and aggregate without seam failure under repeated handling.

Chemicals & Fertilizers

Liner-compatible design supports the moisture barriers hygroscopic powders need.

Food & Pharma

Food-grade fabric and liner options meet hygiene requirements for bulk ingredient transport.
